Competitive Intelligence Advertising (CIA Incorporated) sells

Great Train Expo, Greenberg Shows and Great Midwest Train Show

CIA Inc has just completed two sale transactions. These two sales have CIA Inc. exiting the table top train show business. CIA Inc. will continue to manage the WorldÕs Greatest Hobby on Tour Shows and provide advertising services for a variety of clients, including iHobbyexpo.

Train Show Inc. has purchased the former Greenberg Shows and Great Midwest Train Show from CIA Inc. Train Show Inc. is owned by Randy Bachmann, who has worked in the train show industry for over 20 years. Randy will personally be managing the Great Midwest Train Show, held monthly at the DuPage County Fairgrounds in Wheaton, IL. Randy has hired Frank Hicks to be General Manager for Greenberg Shows. Frank formerly managed those shows for CIA Inc.  Greenberg Shows will be sponsoring the former Greenberg Great Train Expos in the 14 Northeastern United States. Train Show Inc. is headquartered in Elmhurst, IL; for more information about Train Show Inc. visit either www.greenbergshows.com or www.greatmidwesttrainshow.com

Train Expo Inc. has purchased the Great Train Expo shows outside of the former Greenberg Shows region. The Great Train Expo will provide train shows in all areas of the country except the Northeast. Train Expo Inc. is owned by Bill Grove who has over 15 years of train show management experience. He formerly managed the Great Train Expo territory for CIA Inc. that he is now purchasing from CIA Inc. Bill has hired Nick Zorn to assist him in managing Great Train Expos. Nick had a similar position with CIA Incorporated. Train Expo Inc. will be headquartered in Oswego, IL. For more information about Train Expo Inc. please visit www.greattrainexpo.com .

When asked about the sale David Swanson, President of CIA Incorporated made the following comments:

-        ÒI am thrilled that two employees who have worked for me for over 15 years each decided to embrace the opportunity to own their own businesses. I canÕt think of two better qualified people to own and manage these shows.Ó

-        ÒI think separating Greenberg Shows from the Great Train Expo is an excellent idea. This allows the unique aspects of the Greenberg shows to be highlighted. The spirit of cooperation between Train Show Inc. and Train Expo Inc. will ensure both are successful and will provide benefits for exhibitors and attendees. Ò

-        ÒHaving been in the train show business for over 35 years it is time to pass the torch to new leadership. While I will still have plenty to do with our advertising agency and the WorldÕs Greatest Hobby on Tour Shows, this sale does allow me to slow down a little and focus on new opportunities. I am very happy that Randy Bachmann has agreed to continue to help with the show management of the WorldÕs Greatest Hobby on Tour, while building his own business.Ó

-        ÒRandy Bachmann and Bill Grove have been involved in the day to day decision making and execution of this business for the last 15 years. There could not be a smoother possible management transition. In most cases they know more about the details of the business than I do. I am gratified that they have agreed to allow CIA Inc. to continue to perform the advertising for their shows. Kurt Jablonski will continue to perform the show advertising as manager of the CIA Inc. advertising agency.Ó

A primary goal of the sale is a seamless transition for customers. All show dates and reservations records have been transferred and in most cases customer contacts have been preserved. Train Show Inc., Train Expo Inc. and CIA Inc. will share certain assets which can benefit all participants, such as databases and mailing lists. In addition David Swanson will be acting as a consultant to both organizations to provide his perspective and historical information.
